An e-cargo bike doesn't build itself – even if we sometimes wish it would. To turn a bare frame into a fully functional Simply.Lift EP6, you need not only craftsmanship but also the right tools. But don't worry, we'll take you on a little tool tour – with a wink! 😉
1. The Allen Key – the multi-tool for almost everything
Whether it's handlebars, stem, or fenders – nothing works without a good set of Allen keys (also called hex keys). It's practically the Swiss Army Knife of bike building. Tip: These things mysteriously disappear in the workshop all the time, so always have a few spare keys handy!

2. The Torque Wrench – for sensitive screws with finesse
If you don't want the handlebars to come loose while riding or the seat post to jam, you need a torque wrench. It ensures that all screws are tightened with precisely the right pressure – not too tight, not too loose. Worth its weight in gold!
3. The Chain Rivet Extractor… oh no, we don't need that!
Because the Simply.Lift EP6 doesn't have a classic bicycle chain drive, but a maintenance-free carbon belt drive. That means: no oiling, no rust – and no chain rivet extractor!

4. The Spoke Wrench – for perfect concentricity
To keep the wheels perfectly straight and prevent them from "wobbling," we use a spoke wrench. This small but precise tool allows for exact adjustment of the spokes. By the way: If you mess this up, you can quickly turn a round wheel into a buckled one.
5. The Rubber Mallet – because brute force sometimes helps after all
Not all components slide into place on the first try. A gentle tap with a rubber mallet can work wonders here – and prevents unsightly scratches. Sometimes, a little "gentle persuasion" is simply needed.
6. The Bottom Bracket Tool – for power transmission
For the optimal transfer of the Shimano motor's power to the pedals, the bottom bracket must be perfectly seated. With a bottom bracket tool, we tighten the component precisely – for maximum efficiency on every ride.
7. The Tire Lever – for airy matters
If a tire ever needs to be replaced, tire levers are indispensable. These small helpers ensure that the tire can be removed from the rim without breaking your fingers. Practical and a must-have in every bike workshop!

Conclusion: Nothing works without tools – but we'll take care of it for you!
From the finest precision to careful readjustment – without the right tools, building the Simply.Lift EP6 would be impossible. Fortunately, you don't have to worry about it, because we'll do it for you. And if a small adjustment is ever needed, a simple Allen key is usually enough. So don't worry – you don't need a professional workshop to enjoy your EP6!
