These warranty provisions apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions of Simply.Bike GmbH and take precedence in the event of differing regulations.

For all products of the Simply.Bike brand, we, Simply.Bike GmbH, guarantee that the product corresponds to the purchase contract at the time of delivery, i.e. in particular the technical description. We also want to ensure that you are as satisfied as possible when handling warranty cases and provide you with a brief overview of the legal basis with references to the statutory provisions below. Despite all legal requirements, it is particularly important to us to never leave you, our customer, in the lurch. Even if certain cases are not covered by the warranty, we always endeavor, at our own discretion, to find a satisfactory solution in the interests of the customer.

The warranty period is 10 years from delivery (§ 933 ABGB). We recommend checking the product for damage or defects immediately upon receipt, particularly for transport damage, and notifying us of any such damage in writing immediately.

If defects occur within the first 6 months after delivery, it is assumed that the defect already existed at the time of handover, provided this is compatible with the nature of the defect. After this period has expired, you must prove that the defect already existed at the time of handover (§ 924 ABGB).

We accept no liability for defects and damage that occur subsequently, in particular due to unauthorized changes (such as conversions, additions, unprofessional repairs), incorrect operation, accidents and the like.

As part of the warranty, we will undertake the improvement by repairing or replacing the defective component or the entire product. If both forms of improvement would involve disproportionately high costs for us, we can refuse them. Instead of the improvement, you will then receive an appropriate price reduction. In the case of non-minor defects, you can also request the cancellation of the purchase contract instead of the price reduction (§ 932 ABGB).

For repairs under the warranty, we guarantee the use of original spare parts and - if these are no longer available - equivalent and cost-neutral components.

The natural wear and tear of the product (and its wearing parts) due to normal use, rain, water, dirt or dust is not covered by the warranty. The following components of the Simply.Lift STEPS are wearing parts, and their natural wear and tear is excluded from the warranty if used and maintained properly:

handles and saddle

Pedals, belts, sprockets, brake pads

tires and rims

all rotating parts subject to mechanical wear and/or containing bearings

coating of the frame

We would like to point out that costs at external workshops will only be covered if they have been approved in writing by Simply.Bike GmbH in the form of an official cost estimate before the repair is carried out. Completed invoices that have not been agreed upon beforehand cannot be covered.

In order to be able to help you as quickly as possible in the event of delivery damage and warranty claims, we ask you to send us a detailed description of the fault and, if possible, photo and video material to our email address kontakt@simply.bike .
